My dad used to say, “She was the prettiest girl in town.”
My mom used to say, “He swept me off my feet.”
Through thick and thin, my parents stayed together, and when my father passed away in 2001, they had been married for nearly 64-years. This week — July 11 — they would have been married 81 years. And so I honor and recognize my parents by “the hanging of the wreath.”
I hope you’ll take a moment to click on the link below and read about my parents and how the wreath came to be. You might notice that I did some updating to it this year.
